Great TED Talks on Copyright and Piracy

A few months ago I posted Clay Shirky’s TED Talk (Why SOPA Is A Bad Idea) and earlier today I stumbled across two more fantastic videos addressing copyright laws and the faulty math behind industry claims as to how much money has been lost due to the piracy of copyrighted content.

I strongly recommend that everyone watch the video of Larry Lessig’s discussion; “Laws That Strangle Creativity” and how this is effecting our children and their future. If you’re up for something equally intelligent, but briefer and more light hearted, then just give Rob Reid’s “The 8 Billion Dollar iPod” a spin and appreciate a very honest look at the faulty world of ‘copyright math’.
